What Worked Well

1. Comprehensive workflow structure: The step-by-step process from argument validation → research → creation → validation → commit is very clear and complete
2. 8 Pillars validation: Excellent addition in Step 2.5 - validates both source and target language skills have adequate coverage before creating conversion skill
3. Content requirements table: Specific minimums for each section (e.g., "10 entries" for Quick Reference, "5-10 patterns" for Idiom Translations) provide clear quality targets
4. Example complexity guide: The table with lines/concepts/purpose for Simple/Medium/Complex examples is very helpful
5. Self-review mechanism: Step 10 creates a feedback loop that improves the ecosystem over time

Suggested Improvements

• Add guidance on when to use WebSearch vs relying solely on existing skills - I used WebSearch for Python-F# specifics and found Fable.Python transpiler info
• Include template for "Limitations" section - useful when proceeding with Yellow/Red pillar coverage
• Add suggestion to check for transpilers/interop tools (e.g., Fable.Python for F# → Python) as they provide valuable insights for the reverse direction
• Consider adding a "Research checklist" for Step 3 to ensure consistent coverage areas
• Add guidance on handling .NET/CLR-based target languages (F#, C#) vs other ecosystems

Additional Notes

The command workflow is excellent overall. The 8 Pillars validation is particularly valuable - it caught that F# skill lacks a dedicated module system section (scattered in examples). This informed the conversion skill's content.

The progression from reading foundation skills → validation → research → creation → validation → feedback creates a robust quality assurance process.
