Fuzzy Search + ChunkBy filters click not working

I'm trying to filter a chunked group of check boxes via a search input, but if I enter a search and while focus is still on the search input, the first click doesn't register with any of the filtered checkboxes.

It only works if after I've typed a search value I click away to remove focus from the search input.
