String consistency between languages in a component

Hello,

Is it be possible to sync strings between languages in a component.
When adding strings to a language for translation, these are not duplicated to the other languages in our XLIFF files.

Can weblate perform this synchronization or is there an addon planned? I've read about a feature like this in the docs but it only seems to be available for monolingual files.

An ideal solution would be an addon that will look at a base language and add the source strings that are not found in the other languages as an untranslated string.

We've considered writing a post update script or an addon but would like to verify that this functionality does not already exist or will be available in the near future.
