It would be nice if double-clicking a tab would pop it out into it's own window.
Yes, the "New Window for Tab" command exists, but double-clicking the tab to detach it (and having the window appear under the cursor so it can be quickly moved) would be a more fluid workflow. The "New Window for Tab" command seems to always put the window in the middle of the screen.

Start from the existing “New Window for Tab” command and the tab interaction entry point. Determine how double-clicking a tab should detach it and position the new window under the cursor instead of in the center of the screen. Done means the tab opens in its own window with the requested placement and the existing command remains usable.
