Bug Description:
While trying to save my reverse engineering work, I tried to save it on the WSL partition.
However, Binary Ninja gave me this error: Error initializing database: database is locked.
Steps To Reproduce:
- Install WSL 2 on Windows 11
- Try to save an bndb file on the WSL partition
- See error
Expected Behavior:
Trying to save my work to the WSL partition, Binary Ninja should normally save it as it does when saving to Windows or Linux.

Compare that result with saving on Windows or Linux, then trace the database initialization path responsible for the “database is locked” error. Done means the work saves successfully on the WSL filesystem without regressing the other platforms.
