Research direction

Start by locating SteamOS's package or image configuration for shared libraries; the issue names Opus support, libopusfile.so.0, and XMP as the requested targets. Confirm how those libraries are currently included or omitted, then verify that the requested libraries are available in the resulting SteamOS environment.

Description

Hi,

I've been compiling some stuff. Noticed some shared libraries like Opus audio codec are missing from SteamOS.

I think given that Opus is a royalty-free codec and is in use that Valve should include that library in SteamOs.
