Description

Context

GPIO pin 6 is at +24V relative to ground. In the documentation, this pin is listed as not connected. It is very important that people understand that this pin is not left floating, and that it is in fact a moderate voltage, moderate current (250mA) supply pin.

Approach

Close this issue with a PR that fixes the GPIO reference article.

Also, in REV D there were only 2 gpio pins, but in REV E and F it looks like there are 3 based on the direct pin assignment commands. Investigate where this third gpio pin is, and document it.

  • Fix pin 6 NC->24V
  • Figure out where GPIO pin 3 is
  • Test GPIO pin 3 functionality
