Description
Hi.
I usually use base::str or the more useful dplyr::glimpse to observe the structure of the data.table frame
In some cases, for a data frame with a large number of columns, it is necessary to know the column index for an operation such as
df[,c(56,59:86):=Null]
But none of the above shows the column number.
It would be useful to have a glimpse analog with a column index and may be some additional information from precalculated metadata.
The advantage of dplyr::glimpse over base::str is the alignment of the header, just compare pictures
