Description
Currently, data.table does not support long vectors as columns. Long vector support was not requested much (related: https://github.com/Rdatatable/data.table/issues/2751, https://github.com/Rdatatable/data.table/issues/2340). However, I do need handle data with long vectors more frequently as I step more into the area of high frequency data.
I'm not sure how difficult it is to support long vectors but it would be very nice and much appreciated to put this on the roadmap.
