Description
IIUC, %between% is supposed to act as a shorthand for x >= a & x >= b.
But observe:
x = matrix(1:4, 2L, 2L)
x >= 2L & x <= 3L
# [,1] [,2]
# [1,] FALSE TRUE
# [2,] TRUE FALSE
x %between% c(2L, 3L)
# [1] FALSE TRUE TRUE FALSE
Not sure if this usage goes against the idea of between, but certainly the docs aren't true:
betweenis equivalent tox >= lower & x <= upper...
