## Feature request: ability to have a "Surv" class data column in a data.table object
## Currently using data.table version 1.9.4 on R version 3.2.0

library(survival)

## Lung dataset from the {survival} package
lung1 <- lung

## Create a "Surv" class column
lung1$Surv <- with(lung, Surv(time, status))
