Can $psEditor get access to screen coordinates?

I was wondering if there would be a way to build in a sort of functionality to give $psEditor access to the visible editor screen coordinates? I think there are some really interesting things you can do if this is possible. Creating a hotkey to take a screenshot of just the visible text in the editor, or possibly doing something where you can say take a screenshot of line 1 to 50.

Just curious if anything like this is possible.
