Description

Normals Coherency Fixing.

Your Environment

  • Operating System and version: Ubuntu 16.04
  • Compiler: G++
  • PCL Version: 1.7

Context

I'm trying to implement this paper using the PCL context.
The main idea was to fix the normals orientation to make this coherently.
I already have some code "working" but not very well, so I'm asking for some help to finish this and put on some public space for everyone use.

Code to Reproduce

Please, send me a message asking about the code.

Research direction

Start by reading the linked reconstruction paper and reviewing the reporter's existing PCL implementation, which is not included in the issue. Ask the reporter for the reproduction code before attempting work. Done would require a reliable coherent-normal implementation suitable for public use, but the issue does not define files, tests, or acceptance criteria.
