With no sources of obtaining arcane surge other than support, every life-spending build (and they are quite popular nowadays with lifestacking) has Arcane Surge Support showing up in the link suggestions as one of the best supports to use.

Obviously, you can only gain arcane surge when spending mana (unless you have other sources available, like for example arcane surge from zealotry watcher's eye or Hierophant ascendancy), but without them active in your build, arcane surge should never appear as a damage increase for life-spending builds.

In short, it appears POB is incorrectly assuming that every skill can gain Arcane Surge buff from the support.

If no other sources of gaining arcane surge are available, Arcane Surge support should never appear as suggested damage booster for your life-spending skill.

Reproduce el problema en Path of Building con una habilidad que consuma vida y sin ninguna fuente de Arcane Surge que no sea un soporte; después, inspecciona el cálculo de sugerencias de enlaces para Arcane Surge Support. Se considera terminado cuando el soporte no se sugiere en ese caso, mientras que las builds con otra fuente de Arcane Surge disponible siguen recibiendo la sugerencia.
