What is the behaviour in-game?

While I have not tested this in game, I am 99% certain the gloves do not increase ignite dps, as the gloves say they effect HIT dmg.

What is the behaviour in Path of Building?

POB behaviour is wrong. Abhorrent says that it increases elemental HIT dmg for each wither. Nevertheless in the POB I have pasted below if I sort by ignite dps for uniques, POB recommends me abhorrent and claims it gives 40% more ignite dps.
