Beschreibung

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Use case is that I plan my days the previous evening using the events list template. When using |MEETINGNOTE| in the events list for my daily note clicking on the Meeting Note link by an event will create a duplicate note if one has already been created. At present I have to replace the Meeting Note link with the link to the note I created the previous night for each meeting. This is time consuming and I’m sure there is a more elegant solution.

Is it possible for the plugin to check whether a note already exists so that clicking the link either creates a new note or opens one that was previously created.

Describe the solution you'd like
I’d like the meeting notes plug-in to check whether a note with the templated name already exists and to open that rather than create a duplicate.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternatively, the plug-in could replace the create meeting note link with a link to the note that has just been created. This would update the events list in the daily note with the meeting note file names but it is a bit messier than the above solution.
