Descrizione
@EduardMe One thing that would really help...can you think of a way that we could use the iOS NP editor to view the log files? the workflow to test and debug ios plugins is painful...
- hamburger menu
- flick flick flick to the bottom
- tap preferences
- flick flick flick to the bottom
- reset log files
- flick flick flick to the top
- tap on daily notes
- scroll page until hourglass shows up
- tap hourglass
- tap /
- command name
[basically repeat all of that to go back to log and airdrop it to the mac]
Then open the file in Console
then repeat the whole thing again and again
honestly makes me resist debugging my plugins on iOS because it's so painful
Two ideas:
- Could the iOS log file be in the CloudKit directory so it gets synced and would be constantly updated on the mac via cloudkit? so at least once you open the file in console, it would be updated in near-real-time
- could you view the log file on iOS using NotePlan which is a text reader after all? Maybe the log file is in a @log directory or something? then you could leave that file open, run the plugin right there and see the results update? You could even name it with a .md/.txt extension or whatever
