Description

Hi! I installed the @nativescript/localize plugin according to the documentation. But VSCode shows an error in the template syntax.

The left-hand side of an arithmetic operation must be of type 'any', 'number', 'bigint' or an enum type.ts(2362)

Research direction

Start by reproducing the documented @nativescript/localize installation in VS Code and compare the template syntax with the diagnostic shown in the issue. Done means identifying the cause of the template error and confirming that the incorrect TypeScript diagnostic no longer appears.
