Description
Hi,
Do any of the current renderers support point clouds? I've tried rendering a mesh with only vertices (using a single dummy face tensor) but haven't gotten anything to display.

Research direction
The issue does not name a renderer, file, or test. Review the current differentiable renderers and the mesh-with-vertices experiment first; define which renderer should accept point clouds and verify that a point-cloud render produces visible output.
