Description

Motivation/Description

Users utilize Jupyterhub environments across VEDA to support and achieve their science goals. To ensure users can continue to efficiently work in the Hubs, we have planned improvements and supporting features.

Acceptance Criteria

Stick to the Roadmap for new image releases
Review the Disasters Image and set as default for Disasters Hub

InterDependencies

JH and DS (Auth): dependency for bug fixes in the Hub
JH: Boot up time - hub infrastructure side

Level of Effort

DevOps Eng - More than we currently have, heavily rely on JPL (Grace) for image updates

Risks

Waiting on new Ubuntu release to start rebuilding py-rocket-geospatial, also need to coordinate with NOAA NMFS on the upgrade.
