Separate metadata key name with underscore in mustache templating

Description
Looks like this change was missed in #709.
Just want to confirm that this is correct. So a valid metadata field would be {{metadatabuildtype}} or is it supposed to be {{metadata.buildtype}}'? If it's the former, how difficult would it be to compose the field name as metadata_key-name.
