Description

Per a discussion with an intensivist, there is a proposal to modify the "in-ICU mortality" task as follows:

  1. It should be a "mortality within 60 days", not "in-ICU mortality"
  2. It should be after 2d in the ICU, not one.
  3. It should be only for patients over 75

The motivation here is around end-of-life care. Namely, for a patient who is elderly and potentially very ill, understanding (and having an informed discussion with the patient) around how they want to be cared for within the ICU is important, and their risk of near-term mortality (either within the ICU or shortly after leaving) is a big factor in such discussions.
