Research direction
Start by running the demo app on the reported 4.9.0 / .NET Core 3.1 setup and monitor its memory over time. The payload names no source file, test, or reproduction steps beyond leaving the app running for about an hour. Done means the leak is identified and the demo app no longer grows to extreme memory usage during the same scenario.
