Description

Hi! I know that asyncio support is not yet implemented (as described on README), but to "get there" wouldn't be like adding some kind of contextvars task factory into the asyncio.Task.current_task using loop.set_task_factory? Thanks! 😃

Research direction

Start with the README's description of missing asyncio support, then investigate the referenced asyncio.Task.current_task and loop.set_task_factory APIs. Determine whether the proposed contextvars task factory approach fits the project; done should mean asyncio support is implemented and its behavior is covered by appropriate tests.
