Research direction

Start by locating the existing Point and Circle geometry support in the package and examine how those types are represented and tested. Add support for Box, Line, Polygon, MultiPoint, MultiLineString, MultiPolygon, and GeometryCollection, then verify that each listed geometry type is accepted and represented consistently with the existing types.
