Make sure that when someone installs the package, it is runable---need not be perfect, but should work!
Clarity of integration/reliance on [TreeOfLife-toolbox](https://github.com/Imageomics/TreeOfLife-toolbox):
- [ ] status at handoff (i.e., what does the data look like after this process)
- use distributed-downloader portion of [this comment](https://github.com/Imageomics/TreeOfLife-dev/issues/81#issuecomment-2723821123)
- [ ] explain that one switches to downloader tools to do x,y,z (very general, just a pointer)
