Research direction
Start by reviewing PR #19 and its button for switching between Map View and Histogram View, then compare the two screenshots in this issue. Decide how the control should communicate the view change and what placement or tab treatment is appropriate. Done means the switch feels clear and the resulting whole-screen change is expected.
