Deconstructing a Fish: Landmarking, Segmentation, and Identification of Invavise Cichlids

The project focused on using imaging to extract information on the biological traits of invasive cichlids. The project has focused on size-based demographics and landmarking of body shape across different populations of cichlids within different environments, which in turn can lead to further comparisons with machine learning techniques. I wish to expand my knowledge and use of machine learning tools to further my research. This project ongoing for the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.
