Description
This seems like it would have a lot of untility for specific projects including school group citizen science projects since in an inaturalist group you can limit the data to certain users, locations, time ranges, etc as part of the group configuration.
If you want to test it you can use our image datapolooza group "image-datapolooza-2023"
https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/image-datapolooza-2023
@johnbradley you are an admin on that project if you want to play with any of the data limiting features for the group.

Research direction
Start by locating the fetch data feature and the code that currently accepts individual iNaturalist usernames. Use the image-datapolooza-2023 project as a test case, including its configurable data limits. Done means the feature accepts an iNaturalist project name as well as individual usernames and fetches the project data.
