# Feature Description
As an instrument scientist or user, I would like to be able to read and write two additional parameters via the Julabo IOC and OPI. Controlling them remotely would make it more convenient to use the waterbath as well as provide additional diagnostic data.
## Explanation
During an experiment on NIMROD, it was discovered that the "Xpu" and "cospeed" parameters were not available remotely, and had to be set manually via the physical control panel on the bath. Had they been available, it would have saved time and effort while diagnosing a problem with setting control parameters.
### Additional Information
- `Xpu` and `cospeed` are the names of the parameters given by the instrument scientist from the names used in the menus of the physical control panel. They have not been verified by checking in the manual(s).
- Several models of Julabo waterbath exist, and so any changes will have to be supported by each model.
- There are manuals for the various models in the usual area of the group network share.
See our [Git Workflow](https://isiscomputinggroup.github.io/ibex_developers_manual/processes/git_and_github/Git-workflow.html).
## Acceptance Criteria
- Additional parameters are added to the IOC and displayed on/controlled by the OPI
- All IBEX-supported models of Julabo waterbath are covered (providing that the requested commands are present in their protocols)
