NICOS: display `print` output consistently with `ipython`

As a muon scientist I would like:

> [...] on the Script Server output. Where instrument scripts do (for example) print (a,b,c) the items a,b,c end up on separate lines in the Script Server output console whereas they are all on one line normally.

Start by tracing the Script Server output-console handling and the path used by instrument scripts' print(a,b,c), then compare its formatting with IPython. Done means the items are displayed consistently on one line in the Script Server output console.
