Description
Leaving the unittest.cpp inside /test may override existing unittest files, while leaving unittest.cpp.base potentially leaves junk files.
Perhaps it is a better idea to provide the skeleton code in the README.md file

Research direction
Inspect /test/unittest.cpp and /test/unittest.cpp.base, then review README.md to determine where the skeleton code should be documented. Remove the two files and document the skeleton in README.md, confirming that no existing unittest files are overridden and no .base junk file remains.
