Option to search authors

It would be nice to have an option in the Admin web interface to search for authors, respectively if they have submitted an abstract. We had a few cases in which people had difficulties to log in (various reasons, like mistake in email address) and contacted us. Knowing if it eventually worked out for them would then be easy .

Start by locating the Admin web interface and the code or entry points for authors and submitted abstracts; the issue names no files or tests. Trace how administrators currently identify authors and confirm abstract submissions. Done means an administrator can search authors and determine whether each has submitted an abstract, including cases involving login problems.
