Description

Hi guys,

I hope you are very well.

I would like to inquire about the ABNORMAL_TERMINATION_IN_LNSRCH optimization error when performing the 5-item confirmatory factor analysis that is explained by one latent variable.

I have found this same issue in other libraries and in R, where they indicate that it can occur in functions where the surface is very flat, in fact if I evaluate these same items by exploratory factor analysis with one component, the factor loadings are very close to each other.

I can do something to avoid this?, What is your opinion of what is happening?, or I would really appreciate if you could tell me how I can justify it, since the study is intended to be a scientific publication.
