API endpoints in "murfey.server.api.spa" might be vestigial and can be removed

Need to investigate which parts of our software stack still make calls to these endpoints. If none, we can look at removing them in a future PR.

Start with the API endpoints in murfey.server.api.spa and trace whether any parts of the software stack still call them. Search the repository and connected components for references to these endpoints. Done means the callers, if any, are identified and the evidence is sufficient to decide whether removal should be proposed in a future PR.
