Birthday and related fields do not update on refresh after change.

When updating a field in a profile, and hitting save changes, there is no indication that anything was actually updated. Then on refresh, it appears that the changes were not saved, and the old information is there. This is reproducible.

The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. Start by reproducing the profile field save and refresh flow, then trace where the submitted birthday or related fields are handled. Done means the updated values persist after refresh and the interface indicates that saving succeeded.
