Ring of Power continues to whisper/summon Nazgul when stolen

Had my Ring of Power stolen by a nymph, but Nazgul continued to spawn and the unintelligible whispers continued as well. Thought this was intended until the Ring of Power was destroyed by lightning.

Apparently I still have extrinsic telepathy and I have not tested, but I might still be digesting slowly, too. I could spend X turns figuring that out, but am lazy. Also, can't tell if I'm still extrinsicly invisible on account of the stalker I ate. Om nom.

Expected: Nazgul/whispers, boons cease when Ring is not in your possession.
