I'm doing experiments using an High Speed Camera to record flame transitions inside of pipe. I wanna make some calculations from this videos (or frames) and transform into graphics. Example - Plot of: time x velocity; time x vector velocity; time x vorticy; etc.

I have several frames for an high speed camera record. Current, I’m doing 2D recording but I’m setting up the 3D too.

This frames are flame explosion flowing in the T pipe. (I’m doing experiments with powder TiO2 inside too cause I wanna try to make PIV too). And one of the record, I put a mesh with 2mm square.

From the experiment without powder, I wanna take data from the images: velocity; vector velocity; vorticity; and anything is possible.

I though in this way but I dont know how to do it exactly and I dont know if it’s correct.

I’m thinking to converge the Image RGB to a Matrix:

Each frame has the own matrix.
Try to put an array from each frame and with this represent the deltaT (0,001s).

And manipulate these matrix in the way I can normalize to have an graph with velocity x time, where the location would be pixel variation inside of the matrix and the time the the deltaT of each frame.

Do you think this is possible? Would you know a better way to do this or software? I'm using ImageJ too.

L’issue menziona matrici di immagini MATLAB, ImageJ, fotogrammi di una telecamera ad alta velocità e un intervallo di 0,001 secondi, ma non indica file del repository, test o punti di ingresso. Occorre innanzitutto chiarire se si tratta di una richiesta relativa a un argomento, a un workflow o a una funzionalità software; un risultato completo richiederebbe un input definito, un metodo di elaborazione e grafici target per velocità, velocità vettoriale o vorticità.
