### Why are we doing this?

Throughout this course we will ask you to complete exercises on a platform called [Codewars](https://www.codewars.com/). Platforms like this are often used in technical interviews but they also provide a fantastic opportunity to practice your skills.

Follow the link above and click the "join" button in the top right corner. On the next page click the "Link your GitHub account" button to use the details from your GitHub profile here. You will need to log in to GiHub and approve the connection.

**Pay attention to your email inbox**! You will receive emails asking you to verify your account and you need to follow the steps in them. If you do not then you won't be able to make full use of Codewars' features.

Make sure to link your Codewars account on your CYF Portal profile.

Once you have created your account you can [customise your profile](https://docs.codewars.com/getting-started/setting-up/) and join the CodeYourFuture clan.

### Submission & Review

Make sure your account is linked on your CYF Portal Profile page.

Open the Codewars link and follow the signup flow, including GitHub account linking and email verification. Then link the Codewars account on the CYF Portal Profile page; completion is demonstrated when the account is created, verified, and linked to the profile.
