Config files in defaults change periodically, automating updates to Parameter values will save work.

Possible Solutions:

- source updates from chime_sims repo
- source from approved external sources

Review ./defaults/*.cfg and inspect the chime_sims repository as a possible source. Decide which approved source is authoritative and how updates should be triggered; done means config values are refreshed reproducibly without manual edits.
