Search does not show any progress while loading the search result

UI looks unresponsive. Show a progress bar or a spinner while loading the result.

Start at the search result loading path and identify where the UI waits for results. Add a visible progress bar or spinner during loading, then verify that the indicator appears while a search is in progress and disappears when results finish loading.
