Description

Parallel runs should use https://numpy.org/doc/stable/reference/random/generated/numpy.random.Generator.spawn.html to start with a single seed, then create seeds for child simulations

Research direction

The issue names no files or tests. Read NumPy's Generator.spawn documentation first, then locate the entry point for parallel runs and trace how child simulations receive random state. Done means parallel runs begin from one seed and derive seeds for child simulations, with existing tests still passing.
