Description

Or should the standard pattern be to specify the model in numpyro but pass it off to bayeux or blackjax etc for inference?

Research direction

Start by reading the discussion in issues #361 and #151, then compare the tradeoffs of NumPyro's bundled NUTS sampler with handing inference to Bayeux or BlackJAX. The issue does not name files, tests, or a concrete acceptance criterion; done would require an agreed default backend and an explicitly documented decision.
