Cursor jumps to end if value gets reformatted

After a format of the value the cursor jumps to the end.
It should stay at the position where i edit the text.

Start by reproducing the cursor movement while editing a value that is reformatted in the AngularJS input behavior described here. Trace the formatting and input-handling entry points, then verify that the cursor remains at its edit position after reformatting rather than moving to the end.
