Description
It would be great to be able to list files in a azure blob using unix style glob expressions as
provided in python for files on disk through the glob module.
This can be implemented in the client side using the original glob module as a reference and changing calls to os.listdir function by client.walk_blobs function. I implemented a working prototype using this approach.
If this was implemented on the server side this would potentially run much faster as would not require many back and forth communication between the azure server and the client.

Research direction
Start by reading Python's glob module and the client's walk_blobs entry point, then review the working prototype mentioned in the issue. First resolve whether the contribution targets client-side matching or a server-side query; done means Azure blob listings support the agreed Unix-style glob behavior.
