Issues with Copy/paste functionality

I am having issues with react-base-table in a work project where users are unable to copy and paste from a table cell. It happen's in places where we are dynamically generating some html content to render into the cell using cell-renderer.

I tried reproducing in isolation to be able to present an example, but unfortunately to no avail. It is a bit cumbersome to fully recreate as it is part of a larger application. We have an infinite scrolling list of data that is returned from search results. With this list, we have the ability to toggle to a tabular infinite scroll view (we use react-base-table for the tabular view). The user is able to type into a search input, get back results, and then in our custom cell renderer, we go through the display text and generate html strings with tags to wrap around parts of the text that **match** the search filter the user typed. We do this to create a "highlight" effect (replicating cmd + 'f' functionality). Result data comes back, renders in the list, and any matching text from the search input is wrapped in highlight span tags.

In our standard view that doesn't use react-base-table, there are no issues at all, but in the view that uses react-base-table. Copy/paste is totally blocked. Nothing ever gets to the clipboard. Because of that, my suspicion is that it is the library itself, but it is hard to track down specifically why this might be happening. If anyone has some suggestions as to what might be causing this interaction, I would love to hear them. Would be much appreciated!
