描述
I'm always trying to keep my menu bar as simple as possible, also to be able to see at a glance if anything requires my attention. I've been using Bartender, Ice, Hidden Bar, Vanilla and all the other tools, but none of them are working any more without major issues, so I'm back at hiding icons one by one in the MacOS settings as well as configuring each app, if possible.
What I'd love to have is an option in AlDente to hide the menu bar icon(s) if "nothing happens", i.e. AlDente is neither actively charging nor uncharging the battery.
For example, I'm using the sailing mode between 50-65% plus the heat icon to see when the battery is at high temperature. When the battery level is within that range, and the charger is connected, nothing happens, neither charging nor uncharging. So I don't need to see the icon in my menu bar.
For example, when I unplug the charger, it discharges, so I'd like to see the icon, as a reminder.
Alternatively, the condition could be that the battery is below or above a certain threshold. That would make it more customizable for people, and presumably simpler to implement.
Thanks very much for the wonderful app and your continuous work on it! ❤️
