Descrição

I have set the charge limit through AIDente on my Mac at 50% for a long time. This has never happened before. But recently, I noticed that when battery is dropped to 45 percent, and AIDente is trying to charge my mac, but the charging last only for a second. I could see that AIDente kept trying to charge, as it goes on and off, on and off.

After i quit AIDente, I could observe through Mac native battery icon in the menubar that, the charge was hold at 45 percent. So mac native battery regulation decided that my mac does not need to be charged now. And this overwrites AIDente.

First of all, is it healthier for the battery to let Mac internal management take charge? Like, in this case, is it better to let the battery level stay at 45% instead of always maintain at 50%?

Second, how to solve this regulation conflict?
