[Bug] Copy/Paste in grids does not work

### Bug Description

Copy/Paste in grids does not work, whether the source is external or the grid itself.

### How to Reproduce

- make a grid
- add a date field for instance
- create a new row with a date
- create a new row with no date
- copy the existing date
- try to paste as the date for the second row

### Expected Behavior

copy/paste works
