"New query" file does not execute query unless file is saved

### Expected behavior

Before the latest update, I would click "New query", write my query, and execute the query to preview the result.

### Actual behavior

After the latest update, when I click "New query", write my query, and execute the query, nothing happens. If I save the file, it runs again.
